The Body Does Not Obey | The Mind Does Not Hear is a zine about chronic pain and illness and how the constant bombardment to the senses - and the things we are told by doctors, family, and friends - leads us to ignore what our body is telling us. Specifically, me, but maybe also you.
This zine was made for the Zine Idea Generator 2.0 Jam inspired by the prompt "Make a guidebook zine that reinterprets chronic illness."

I knew based on the title that I'd relate to this, and boy did I. My chronic illness details are a bit different, but I know this feeling (and the need to listen to my body). Thank you for writing it.
